I’m Cody’s Uncle John’s sister-in-law and am So sorry to hear about Cody. It didn’t know him but know the Naser family as the best people and I know if Cody could have been helped they would have.
To his parents and brother, I know you have a sustaining faith that you will see Cody again. Love doesn’t die. It strengthens.
He will be in your dreams and you will smile again.
Best,
Julie Engberg
Oh Cody, I will miss our talks, what a character. As someone who also suffers from addiction, there is nothing left to say except my heart hurts.
So sorry for the loss to the Naser family.

Cody and I met in 5th grade at Greenville elementary when I moved to North Logan. I remember getting into a fight with him in class and Cody got locked either in the Janitors closet or the bathroom by the principal or the teacher I can’t remember which. I remember him telling me he got locked in there because of me lol. It ended up causing us both to miss out on a field trip that we were supposed to go on and we had to sit in in school suspension together. We ended up becoming friends after that and got along pretty good all through school. Cody was always kind of a hell raiser in school and good for a laugh. We graduated from Sky View high in 2004 and I ran into him a few times after that. I haven’t seen him for quite a few years and it saddens me to hear of his passing. I’m glad I got know him all through school. He was a good guy and a good friend, my thoughts go out to your family and friends. Until we meet again old friend.

I knew cody for a few years and the thing ill always remember is how kind and giving he was to those around him. He had a massive heart, and would go out of his way to make sure someone else was taken care of.. I remember driving around in his truck and just talking about life and the struggles that we were dealing with at the time. He helped pull my spirits up when at the time i thought that was impossible. And ill forever be grateful for that.. Until we meet again cody just know i love you brother, and im glad to of had the chance to call myself your friend.
Rest in peace brother

We are so sorry to hear of Cody's passing. He was a great worker and we appreciated his work ethic while he was employed with us. Ours prayers are with all of his loved ones.

I could never keep up with Cody, not as a kid, and not even as an adult. He had so much energy and life and I admired that about him. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, he made people laugh until their faces hurt! He had a gift, it was his calling to make people laugh. I will always remember that. I know that I'll get the chance to laugh with him again someday. Miss you, Code. You left us MUCH too soon. We love you.
Your favorite cousin (wink wink),
