I was deeply saddened to hear of Daysen’s passing. I remember coming to your home when he was a baby until he turned 3 to work on his developmental skills. He knew what he wanted from a young age and would stand firm. He was a picky eater and wouldn’t drink anything for months until Grandma came to visit and had a large drinking cup that he decided looked good and would drink from. What a sweet blessing he is. I pray that the Lord will comfort you and your family during this time.

Bryan and Laurel. I cannot tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I know that Daysen is in a much better place, at peace and healthy. I am heartbroken yet smiling at the same time while thinking back to my visits with your family and Daysen. While I am not my father, he did manage a smile and a hello to me once in a while. I feel so truly blessed to have known such a sweet sweet spirit. He was so lucky (pun intended) to have you as his parents, what a gift for all of you. Although we are unable to attend Daysen’s funeral, our thoughts are with you! I remember the blessings he received and I will always cherish them in my heart. I will always remember coming to the Hospital when he was born. His parents not knowing what all was ahead of them and yet the love and excitement of this new baby boys glowed and filled the room. I had the privilege of spending more time with him and his family when he was younger. He always filled the home with love with his wonderful smile.

Daysen is such an amazing, sweet boy. I love how absolutely genuine he is, he has never tried to be anyone else. I love that even in the hardest times he lived his life the way he felt like he should and not even the hardest trials slowed him down.
I cherish my memories of spending time at the Luck house to hang out or babysit. I enjoyed jumping on the tramp with the kids and snuggling up when we watched a movie.
I’m so grateful for the example that Daysen and his whole family have been to me. From them I have felt the power of serving others without a thought for yourself and always always being true to yourself and to the gospel.
I can’t wait until I get to see sweet Daysen again.
