Eve was my first friend when I moved to California in the second grade. We attended Warm Springs school together until she moved to Ogden Utah. I can remember going to her birthday party at her house on Elm Street. I remember her mother as well. After Eve moved to Utah, we wrote letters to each other for years. It was a lot of fun to have a pen pal all those years, up until high school, I think. We lost touch and then one day in 2009, I found her on facebook. We were delighted to reconnect. When we were young girls and only connecting through letters, I always thought of her as someone who was happy but lived far away and that is how I will think of her now. Rest in peace my little red headed friend. My condolences to her family. Remember, love lives on forever. ~ Donna
