I learned so much from my Dad, that I don’t know how to compress it into a single thought. I’m going to give a list, which I hope to make short. The first thing that I think of when I think of Dad, is his incredible work ability and ethic. He knew how to work, long and hard, and accomplish a great many tasks. I did not learn from him, but did admire greatly, his ability to be creative. I watched him sit at the dining room table and sketch buildings have all kinds, and then bring some of them to life. If he could think it, he could draw it, and he could build it. I also remember hours of creative, captivating stories being told to his children, and sometimes the neighborhood children, that held us rapt with attention to every detail. It was all just so amazing! I also learned to continually work on my own self, to continually become a better, improved version of my self. I also learned to step-by-step work on and build my faith, and sometimes, when needed, to take a step back, to repent, to rediscover, to begin again. I learned from him the ability to laugh, to be passionate about something, to be courageous and learn well, and to love deeply. I am so thankful for and am blessed by the legacy he left for us to learn from and to learn to embrace. I love him forever, miss him, and know he is now doing a special work for the Lord-just as he did while here with us. Becca
