Please convey our sincere condolences to the family.
I am very grateful to Janet for the love and care she shared with me when I lived with them in Orland. She got me into her Judo club and that was so beneficial in helping me keep out of trouble as a teenager. Her example of walking the path of service to others should be followed by all of us. We will all miss her, especially as the family historian. There were few details about the Hassards and the Paxmans that she missed. I especially enjoyed how she related history by telling us stories rather than just facts and events. We loved Janet and look forward to seeing her again soon.
