Oh Dear Butch … our hearts are broken with yours . I’m trying to remember when we first met. We’ve known you forever and remember you both fondly .Linda was ALWAYS a friend . Such a sweet sister in the gospel . We love you both so very much. John & I are currently in Missouri on a mission . We would have been with you had we been home . Please know our prayers are with you and we love you dearly . Linda was and is - a true Saint . Heaven is rejoicing .

I remember visiting with the Sweat family when I was younger. I have visited with Linda over the years. She was always kind to me. I wish I could come to the funeral but I am sick in a rest home. I hope you will all be comforted by the gospel.
My friendship with Linda began well over forty years ago as we served together in Stake Young Women. She was fun to work with and so organized. Our friendship continued after our service together. We enjoyed sharing with each other our plans for family reunions and family history work because both became very important to us. We would phone each other and spend hours comparing what our next family project was going to be and how we would accomplish it. Her friendship is dear to me. Butch and family, you are in my prayers. Linda was one of my teachers in Young Women. She also taught my daughter Jessica. I’m so thankful for her influence she has been in my life. She was always smiling. My thoughts & prayers are with the family.
