Dear LeRoy and family,

We are so sorry to hear at the passing of MaryAnn. She was such a beautiful woman and was so exceptional in everything she did!
I wanted to attend her services Saturday, but we were out of town and not able to attend.
You were such a good friend the reserves. I have so many fond memories of our time together.
I hope to meet and visit with you sometime soon. I also hope that you are doing well and able to get thru all the pain and sorrow with the loss of your lovely companion. May God bless you and your family!

We have many memorable times with Mary Ann and Leroy. We golfed together for year and years, winning many golf tournaments. We also attended many educational classes together.

She was the kindest, sweetest person ever. Seems weird we attended her and Leroy’s wedding and now her funeral. So sad.
Leroy, your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Years ago Mary Ann and I were Confirmed together as adults at St. James. We were both involved in activities there. Her husband Leroy and mine, John, golfed together. We were all friends with Joan and husband Kay before he died and then when she married Bill Sullivan. We were at TreeO retirement in So. Ogden with them for a year. We left when the kids had finished our house repair but still saw Joan at Holy Family. We hadn’t known they had moved to another Care center where he died. We’ve seen Joan only a few times since. I don’t know if she had known about the Atencios.. Over the years we kinda lost track of M.A. and Leroy when they moved to Colo. I was surprised when a friend from Kentucky said in a E Mail that they had moved back here and she had broken a hip. We don’t have a car and our health ,John has Parkinson’s, kept us unable to visit them, and was shocked to hear of her death. We are so sorry and will offer our Mass this Sat eve for her and Leroy, and arrange for a Mass to be said for her at Holy Family parish where our daughter takes us. M.A. was such a special person. In God’s love , Mary Ann and John Chase.
