It’s been many years since I have seen Ian but I am very saddened to hear of his passing. He was a bright light in my high school memories. Very kind, always welcoming, and had the best laugh. His enthusiasm and laughter made everything better. He helped me feel ok and understood . Nate, Tomas, Ian and Bob—learned a lot about life from these guys and wouldn’t be the person I am today without them.
Ian was a lot of fun to be around. Never a dull moment with him. He met my some of my nephews once for 15 minutes. He sang the Pokemon song to them and made such an impression on them that even as adults they still remember him. I also remember at one stake dance he made his own line dance on the spot. He taught to me and some other friends. Dare I say Backstreet boys had nothing on us that night. I will his joy. He was a ray of light.
Spending time, laughing, and making music with Ian was pure magic. He made an immeasurable impact on my life. Memories of our childhoods often surface and make me smile or laugh. He was a joyful part of my life. Love to him and the whole family. ❤️

My memories of Ian are full of happiness. As a childhood friend, Ian and I spent time playing games, jumping on the tramp, and watching the movie "Hook" during sleepovers. No sleepover was complete without Pringles Chips and Shasta soda. The entire Bishop family always welcomed me into their home.
