Randall Carrol Rose passed away peacefully on December 5, 2013, in the presence of his family. He died after a struggle with cancer. He was born in Vallejo, Ca. on August 27, 1953. Randy was raised in Tooele, UT and spent many of Read Obituary
I worked with Randy at the Golden Gate Casino in Las Vegas in 1977, we kept in touch until the early 80's. A Gentleman indeed. I searched for him on face book, then googled, Tooele Utah, My condolenses to The Rose family, though I never met his Son's, My thoughts and prayers are with both of You. Dennis James Rogalski
On behalf of the Pacheco family I want to send our deeepest sympathy and prayers for Randy and the Rose family, our hearts go out to you. I have fond memories of growing up in Pine Canyon. The Rose family were a great bunch who were always friendly, and well liked. Thanks for saving seats on the bus. Rest in Peace Randy May God bless you.
I am deeply saddened to hear about my childhood friend passing away. We spent many hours together on the baseball fields and hanging out together in Pine Canyon. Randy was such a great friend and even though it had been years since I last saw him, I will miss him more than words can express. My sincere condolences to his family. I will always remember the entire Rose Family with deep love and affection.
Sorry to see in the paper of Randy's passing. I know he is not suffering any more and in better place.

I thought back and remembered how I would call him Rosa all during our high school days. And how he would respond what's going on Gar? everytime. I went back and looked at our yearbooks,and saw how he signed every picture and his thoughts with your friend Rosa... I remember growing up In Pine Canyon there were a few of the "Older" Guys I looked up to. I remember Randy especially because he always took the time to talk to us younger kids. the Roses always had my respect for there ability to make everyone comfortable. My heartfelt sorrow goes out to the rest of the family, I know that Jerry understood the important things in life and was welcomed home to a wonderful reunion. one where we all one day be welcomed. I am proud to have known you Jerry. thanks for taking the time.
I went to high school with Randy. He was a couple of grades above me. He was a great Tooele High School basketball star and a wonderful person to know.

Dear Jerry, Cheryl and Romana, I was saddened to hear of the loss of Randy. Obviously when I think of Randy I reflect on all the great times at the ole' swimming pool and at Tooele High School. While Randy possessed great athletic skills in football, baseball, basketball and swimming, I will always remember how he always conducted himself with dignity. I remember he was modest as leader when his teams won and always credited his teammates. When his teams came up short, his disappointment was obvious, but he conducted himself in a professional, dignified manner. A long time ago when Randy was 12 and playing on the Tooele American League all-star team, the announcer announced over the loudspeaker that "Rose struck out his last time at bat." Jerry told me, "Randy won't like that." A few pitches later he drove a line drive into the outfield. That's symbolic to me how Randy lived his life. I will always remember Randy as a man of action, rather than words. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this time of sorrow. Sincerely,
