I happened across Rex's name and then this obituary. What a kind man. I worked for Rex at the Flipper Flapper Arcade at the Inland Center Mall in San Bernardino back in the late 70's while I was a student at Cal State. I later became a counselor for the Fontana schools -- but I will always hold special memories of Rex and the things I learned from him.

I met Rex around 1987 as an intern at Golf N Stuff. I was later hired on as an Assistant Manager and worked with Rex for several years. He was a good man and taught me a lot about the business. I'm really glad he brought Scot on-board while I was there as we have remained good buddies. RIP Rex. My prayers are with your family.
Dear Mary Ann, We were sad to hear about Rex. We have missed him the past month at the center. I still expect to look over at the pool table and see him there playing with Mack. Thank you for sharing him with us. We hope you will find peace and feel him close in the years to come.
