Beverlee Krehmeyer

"It is with heavy hearts that we bid farewell to Beverlee Krehmeyer, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and wearer of many hats. She was born in 1942 in Nevada and sadly left this world on July 21, 2023. Beverlee’s parents, Gilbert and Virginia Savage, raised a force of nature along with her brother and sisters on an enormous ranch in Montana. There she gained her love of adventure and developed her free spirit. As a young girl, she loved working outside like the men, riding horses, caring for the animals, and loving ranch life. Early in life, Beverlee married Orval Bantz, and together they had two amazing children. Her firstborn, Keven, and his wife, Debbie, fondly remember their mother’s infectious laughter and joy she brought to their lives. Countless laughs were shared with her daughter, Lisa Koch, and her husband, Dave, who will always treasure her witty comebacks and mischievous sense of humor. In 1975, Beverlee was married to the love of her life, Fred H. Krehmeyer. They blended their families together, and she gained 3 more wonderful children: Bill Krehmeyer and his wife, Diane; Lonnie Krehmeyer, who precedes her in death, his memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him; and Darlene, who recalls her constant support and love, especially when she needed a listening ear (or a gentle kick in the pants). They loved to debate and discuss their favorite topics, especially politics. She and her husband, Ken, cherish the memories of their time with her and Fred in Grand Junction, Colorado. Together, she and Fred had their little caboose, Melissa Quist. Her older siblings always said she was rotten to the core for how much she was spoiled. She and her husband, Jeff, will forever cherish her love and support she bestowed upon them, especially during the 2 ½ years she lived with them in their home. Beverlee’s life was a testament to her pursuit of knowledge and personal growth. She attended Bullard High School in Fresno, California, where she honed her quick wit and unmatched charm. Throughout her varied career, Beverlee demonstrated her innate ability to adapt like a chameleon. From working as a telephone operator, a banker, to donning the uniform of a policewoman, there was hardly a field she didn’t conquer. She even had her pilot's license. She could do ANYTHING she put her mind to. This fierce lady even pursued the world of Real estate, excelling as a Realtor, trainer, and even topping the charts multiple times. Later, she became a general contractor and the successful business owner alongside Fred, of Bestway Mobile Transport. Beverlee had an unwavering faith and love for her Heavenly Father and loved the gospel. She served many callings within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Beverlee’s dedication was unwavering as she selflessly gave her time and talents to help others. She had many talents: she was an exceptional painter, loved gardening, listening to all genres of music, and could play many instruments by ear. She could hear perfect pitch. More than anything, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She always supported them in all their endeavors, though she did love to scare them. Many of the grandchildren recall her telling them that Barlow the vampire lived in the attic. If they didn’t behave, she would call him down. They were struck with terror when they were misbehaving because she would take the broom handle and knock on the ceiling with it to summon him. They quickly turned into good little angels. Her favorite thing was to show people her wall of pictures and tell stories about each of her 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren: Brandi, Lynette, Cassie, Jeff, Matt, Nathan, Megan, Savannah, Tori, Britney, Dalton, and Brooklyn. Her great-grandson Braden and, lastly, Sweet Leilauni was born just one day prior to her passing. Unfortunately, she met her match in her battle with cancer, and it is with heavy hearts that we say farewell to this exceptional woman. Her wit, charm, and knack for making people laugh will be sorely missed. Beverlee is preceded in death by her parents, Gil, and Virginia Savage; sweetheart, Fred Krehmeyer; stepson, Lonnie Krehmeyer; brothers-in-law, Glen Standley, Sam Krehmeyer, George Krehmeyer; sister-in-law, Wilma Covey. She is survived by her sisters: Carol Standley (Glen), Linda Hansen (Lynn), Margaret Parke (William), Sylvia Riley (David); sisters-in-law, Myrna Jacobs (Jim), Bev Krehmeyer; and one brother, Gilbert Savage (Jeanette). Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue or to spend an extra moment with loved ones, sharing a funny story, and a good laugh, just as Beverlee would have wanted. The family would like to give special thanks to her doctors and nurses at Utah Cancer Specialists; she especially loved her nurse, Leslie. Atlas Home Health and Hospice lovingly guided her through the final stages. She loved and trusted her nurse, Rachel, and her Chaplain, Marie. Beverlee has chosen cremation, though a celebration of life will be held on August 12, 2023, in Syracuse, Utah."
