"On a beautiful, sunny Mother’s Day-May 12, 1985- our wonderful Brianne was born. Being six years younger than her four older siblings: Stacie, Chet, Hilarie, and Mikey, she immediately stole the hearts of all of her doting caregivers- including neighborhood friends. They all credit the opportunity to help raise Bri and Rachel as a huge part of being great parents. Bri’s life continued to provide that same sunshine for many and an anchor for her younger sister. Rachel looked up to Bri as the beacon of kindness, patience, comfort, and incredible taste in music. As much as Bri loved life and was a talented cosmetologist, her greatest joys were her two boys Kohen (14) and Mason (7). Her passion, her entire purpose in life, was her boys. They were lucky to have such a kind and witty mother. Despite the trials she faced, she reveled in their accomplishments and prioritized their health and happiness. We are certain that Bri will continue, in spirit, to love and guide Kohen and Mason throughout their lives and give support in a way that isn’t possible with a mortal body. When asked to describe Bri, one could open the dictionary to the definition of the word “sweet” and see an image of Brianne. She was too kind for this world. Easy-going, loving, patient, funny, sarcastic, joyful, peace-loving, beautiful, thoughtful, accepting, gentle, good, long-suffering, guileless, and a little stubborn. The stubbornness made her a determined athlete where she played softball for Mtn. View High School. Gifted in math and organization, she was pursuing a degree in engineering. Anyone who knows her knows how her smile and laugh could brighten the darkest day. She had a way of connecting with people which made her good at her job, a way of bringing her sunshine to all, even complete strangers. In her professional life, when she would move locations by being promoted to different manager positions, her clients would follow regardless of how far they had to drive. She knew how to hold space for any emotion they brought to the chair, without judgment. It was therapy for them to be in the presence of a skilled, accepting listener. Even in the depths of her pain and suffering over the last 6 months with liver failure, she complained little and focused her energy on cooking amazing meals for her boys, organizing and crafting, and continuing to offer comfort to whoever she could, whether over the phone or to her hospital staff. And in every conversation, she was concerned more about the other’s pain and that made up the bulk of all her conversations. There has never been and never will be another Brianne. She will be greatly missed. #BeLikeBri Her mom, Traci, was by her side since her hospitalization in October, she was the best caregiver, confidante, and coordinator anyone could hope for! Brianne is preceded in death by her grandparents Elmer & Verona Heinz, and Bill Loy; aunts & uncles Vickie Heinz, Gigi Elegante, Bob Heinz, & Billy Loy; and her niece Sophie Petersen. She is survived by her sons Kohen & Mason White; grandma Nellie Joy Loy; parents Traci Loy Grenny, Steve (Deanne) Heinz; siblings Stacie (Mike) Bersie, Chet (Brandi) Heinz, Hilarie (Charlie) Heinz, Mikey (Mikell) Heinz, Rachel (Garret) Wood; step-siblings Brooke (Jared) Posey, Brittany (Cleve) Pike, Brandon( Melissa) Robbins; nieces and nephews Gabby (Jared, Reese, & Harper) Jensen, Jake Bersie, Zach Bersie, Abby Bersie, Sam Bersie, Max Bersie, Dex Bersie, and Ellie Bersie, Tyson Heinz, Kam Heinz, Kaylie Heinz, Madi Petersen, Craig Petersen, Finn Petersen, Lincoln Heinz, Tiger Heinz, Bubble Jo Heinz, Bostyn Heinz, Porter Wood, and Riley Wood. And a special thanks to her care team at IMC hospital.
