I have so many memories ... I spent yesterday trying to bring up as many as I could and record them in a document ... objective was accomplished and I'lve placed the two page document in a cloud folder so that anyone interested is welcome to read it. It does not sing the blues about his depth of character ... it is my random recall of how we spent our time together and how we were connected. I wish I could have attended his graveside memorial and visited with all you Smith's. Namaste

I remember Dad loving the mountains. When I was little we would take drives in his white Chevy truck on the narrow mountain roads. When I was a little girl, I think I was around 5, we were on one of those drives and we saw a deer caught in a barbed wire fence. Without hesitation, dad got out of the truck and untangled her and set her free. I always feel proud when I think of that. I love you Dad!

Smitty was a talented guy. I'll never forget his basketball and football exciting plays. Loved his family when we were all much younger. Craig was my first girlish crush. He was a good person with many hidden troubles. I'll remember him always as a young man and how he loved his family. Rest In Peace.
