She was a devoted mother to her four children: Chris Brown, Brad Perez (whose wife is Liz), Nathan Perez (whose wife is Cecilia), and Chantel Eggett (whose husband is Matt). Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, and she formed special bonds with each of her grandchildren: Dalin, Kayla, Xavion, Nevaeh, Destin, Ayla, Breion, Ulric, JohnnyJack, Oliver, Lukas, Makenzie, Hayden, and Aria.
