It broke my heart to read about Paul's passing. You, Diane, and Paul, were two of our favorite neighbors for the many years we lived down the street from you. Paul was alway cheerful and had an encouraging word for James. You cannot know how much I appreciated that!
Although be know he is in a better place, this world will be a little less bright without Paul's light.
We fully intended to attend the funeral, and then, klutz that I am, I dislocated my knee (duh!) which has grounded us for the time being. See, Diane, with me for a mom, James was doomed from birth! Hope the levity isn't too inappropriate.
