Dr. Whitlock was my teacher in both fifth and six grade at Sunrise. There aren't many teachers I think about with the same fondness I have for him. He made a difference in my life and I am grateful to have known him. He even attended my wedding reception 9 years ago with one of his granddaughters. Such a good man.
We have known and appreciated our good friend Ray (as well as Norma, Cindy, Julie & David) since we moved to Alpine in 1978. Ray was truly a man devoted to his loved ones, and they are many. We will miss Ray, but take comfort that we can still associate with Norma. Our cemetery plots are close, so we can still visit there and review our great memories of times we shared. Dr. Whitlock was my Elementary principal at Terra Linda from K-6th grade. He made such an impression on my schooling, and thought of him often through out my life. What an amazing legacy he has left behind. I'm so sorry for your loss and the loss of an amazing man.

Dr. Whitlock was my 5th grade teacher at Sunrise Elementary School in Sandy, UT. He was a fantastic teacher and left a lasting impression on me. My condolences to his wife, Norma, and the rest of his family.
