RayLynn Loveridge Sly

On December 4th, 2022 our beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother RayLynn Loveridge Sly passed away surrounded by her family and has returned to be with her parents. RayLynn will be greatly missed and there will forever be a hole in the lives of those closest to her. RayLynn was born to Jimmy Alvin Loveridge and Janice Marie Dye on June 5th, 1963 in American Fork, Utah. She grew up in Springville, Utah and resided there most of her life. She left behind the love of her life Scott Sly, her three children Breanna Davis, Bronson Sly, Britteny (Troy) Parry, nine Grandchildren, one Great Grandchild and her sister Teresa (Dennis) Sunday. RayLynn is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and two sisters. RayLynn married her high school sweetheart Scott Sly on November 30, 1979 in Provo, Utah. They just celebrated their 43rd wedding anniversary. Scott and RayLynn have always had such an incredible bond that couldn’t be broken. RayLynn was there for anyone who needed her, especially her children. She was a great example of unconditional love for them. Her rule was that the door was always open, and the phone was always on, call or come by if you ever needed anything. Mom loved to go camping, fishing, boating, and going for rides on their 4-wheeler/side by side. She loved it all even more when the grandkids were involved. RayLynn and Scott spent a lot of time going to Hobble Creek Canyon and on road trips. But have spent their summers in Scofield, Utah for the last 18 years and she loved mingling with everyone there. Her loss will be felt throughout the Scofield community. RayLynn always did love Christmas. She looked forward to the decorations and giving gifts to those that she loved. She would start Christmas shopping for the next year the day or two after Christmas. She loved it when she had little ones around so she could have Santa come to celebrate with them. RayLynn’s favorite thing in life was just simply being with her family. Come join us for our Celebration of Life on her behalf.
