Sandy was my best friend in jr hi. We would do everything together. Then I met her brother Freddie Lackey. I instantly fell in love. Sandy and I remained friends when Fred went to Viet Nam. When he came home after I year of active duty, we were married. Sandy helped me make my wedding dress. And we remained close until she moved 400 miles away to Reno.
It made it difficult to stay in touch. I will always cherish our memories together.
