Afton Rich Chase
April 29, 1920 - November 24, 2013
Afton Rich Chase joined her husband and many family members Sunday November 24th at 2:30AM. She was born in Afton Wyoming the daughter of Daniel Coulson and Annie Stucki Rich. She spent her growing up years in Paris Idaho where they moved soon after her birth. She attended Emerson Elementary and Fielding High School in Paris Idaho. She also attended Utah State University in Logan Utah for 2 years. It was there she met her future husband Keith Eugene Chase of Nephi Utah. They made their home in Los Angeles California; Paris Idaho; Bountiful Utah; Idaho Falls Idaho; Kaysville Utah and finally in Provo Utah. She loved and lived the gospel of Jesus Christ as taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in all of the women’s organizations of the Church. Her husband, Keith Eugene Chase died in 1996. She is survived by three beloved children, Gary Keith Chase of Salt Lake City Utah; Ann & Robert Bement of Woods Cross Utah and Michael and Jana Chase of Provo Utah. She was blessed with 12 Grandchildren and 48 Great Grandchildren. She is survived by three siblings, Gwen Rich Passey of Paris Idaho; A. M. Rich of Portland Oregon and Diane Rich Pearce of Mesa Arizona Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Lakeside 2nd Ward Chapel, 2530 West 200 South, Provo, Utah with a viewing prior to services at 9:00 am. A family luncheon provided by the Lakeside 2nd Ward Relief Society immediately following the service. Interment will be 4:00 pm at the Paris Idaho Cemetery. The family would like to express our thanks and gratitude to Hospice for Utah, the Lakeside 2nd Ward, many friends and extended family for all the love, support and prayers that have been offered.
