Albert Franklin Holloway, 78 years old, passed away October 8, 2010, Newport, Washington. Born December 16, 1931, Orrick, Missouri he was a twenty-five year resident of Tooele and Hurricane, Utah. Al worked over 27 years for Yellow Freight Transit Company in Kansas City, Missouri. He was a talented musician playing the guitar and mandolin, breaking out in a song for anyone who listened, most times it was Mule Skinner Blues. Al was a regular at the Oroville Old Time Fiddlers Contest held each year in Oroville, CA. He loved to tell jokes and be a kid. He never went anywhere without making a friend. Al was preceded in death by sisters Jenny and Rachel; brothers, Bill, Dave and Floyd; sons, Richard and Butch. Survived by love of his life Frances Annis Clawson; sister, Edith Barber; children, Karen (Sullivan), Frank, Roger, Patty (Mayes) and Peggy (McQuiddy), as well as stepdaughters Diane (Clawson) Rolfe, Terry (Clawson) Holloway, Linda (Clawson) Koffel ,and Sandra Clawson Freeo, 36 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren. Family visitation Thursday, October 14, 2010 10:00 am to Noon at First Assembly of God Church 127 N 7th St. Tooele, UT. Graveside service 1:00 pm at Tooele Cemetery.
