Alicia Anna Rabner Cluff
May 20, 1948 - January 3, 2022
Our beautiful mother and wife, Alicia Anna Rabner Cluff, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. She was born on May 20, 1948 and was raised in Texas until she was 14 years old, at which time, her family moved to Provo, Utah. There she met and fell in love with Ronnie Porter Cluff. They were married on February 21, 1969 in the Salt Lake Temple and lived in Provo for a couple of years before moving to Mapleton, Utah. There, they raised their two boys(Jayson and Cory) and their two girls(Tamara and Corin). Alicia loved her family so much and would do anything for them. She worked hard and sacrificed much for them. She loved to teach and spend time with her family. Alicia loved her animals (dogs, cats, birds and goats) and spoiled them a lot! She has worked at many jobs over the years and even started a few businesses of her own including selling wedding invitations, herbal ointments and tinctures, goat’s milk soap, lotion and cheese, many of which she made herself. She was a great salesperson and loved to promote things she believed in. Alicia was very talented and had many interests. She was always learning and doing new things. If she didn’t know how to do something then she would figure it out. She loved to garden and loved her many roses and flowers! She was very prepared and was always canning and freeze-drying food. She often went to preparedness fairs and was learning new ways to be prepared. She was a beautiful seamstress and made many things for her family and friends. She liked to play games and was very competitive. She was an avid reader and loved to spend her “down” time reading. Alicia loved to travel and see new places, as well as using her camp trailer to go camping and fishing with her family. She enjoyed Dutch oven cooking and collected cast iron pans. It was a family tradition to go river rafting and she was the only person we know that could fall into the Snake River and get back into the boat without getting her hair wet. She could talk to anyone from anywhere and make new friends. She had many ”adopted family” members. She was very generous and anyone that came to her house usually left with something. She was very active and nobody could keep up with her. She joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at age 14. She has always had a strong testimony and has been a great missionary throughout her life. She is survived by her husband Ronnie Porter Cluff, her children, Tamara (Veloy), Jayson (Julie), Corin(Chad), Cory( Rebecca), her 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, her sisters Deana and Berenda and her brother Max(Lanell). She is preceded in death by her parents Ben and Omelia Rabner and her grandson Zachary. She is loved by many and will be greatly missed! We will never forget the influence she has had in all of our lives!
