Allan Dale Brough
December 23, 1943 - December 19, 2017
Allan Dale Brough, 73, returned to our Heavenly Father early December 19, 2017 after a 43 year battle with Sarcoidosis and more recently Parkinson’s disease. He will be dearly missed by Suzette Waterman Brough, his wife of 48 years, Michelle Brough, Jaime and Richard Onibasa (Victoria, Allison, Luke, and Zach), Jen and Brian Chapple (Joe, Drew, Lilly, and Xander), and Tim and Michelle Brough (Maura and Jack). He was greeted on the other side by his son Richard and his parents DeVan Brough and Ronella Meacham. He always said that after he died he was going to take a walk high in the mountains and have John Denver’s “Rocky Mountain High” playing. We know he’s having a great walk! He was a Junior High French and History teacher by trade, but his love came from being a Ham Radio Operator (KC7TOT), working at the Ogden Temple, and doing genealogy work. He served an LDS Mission in France from 1963-1965. He and Suzette were married for time and eternity in the LDS Oakland Temple on December 20, 1969. They have enjoyed living in Brigham City for the past 26 years. He will have a viewing service on Friday, December 22 from 6-8 pm at the LDS church located at 105 Fishburn Drive in Brigham City. On Saturday December 23, his 74th birthday, we will have a final viewing from 10-10:45 with the funeral following at 11:00 a.m. at the same location. His interment will be at the Brigham City Cemetery following the funeral services located at 300 E. 300 S.
