Allen Gilford Loganbill

Allen Gilford Loganbill, age 96, passed away in American Fork, Utah on August 15, 2021. He was born on October 9, 1924 in Calumet, Oklahoma to Olive Viola Wintermute and Harvey Inman Loganbill. He had a high school education and also went to the Spartan School of Aeronautics. He married Fern Mary on November 7, 1952 in Burbank, California. She preceded him in death on August 1, 2019. He served in World War II in the Army Air Corp. He was an Inspector for United Airlines and Spartan School of Aeronautics. He was known for finding a microscopic hairline crack in a jet turbine which saved United Airlines millions of dollars. He was a wonderful father and an awesome grandfather. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is survived by four children Sandra Dean, Allen Dale Lowman, Jack Allen Loganbill and Mary Lynn Montelongo, 13 grandchildren, and 26 great grandchildren. There will be a Funeral held at 11:00 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 381 South 300 East, American Fork, Utah 84003, with a viewing held one hour prior at the same location. Interment will be at the Orem City Cemetery.
