Andrew Robins Christopherson
March 11, 1950 - November 10, 2021
Andrew Robins Christopherson "Andy" Our handsome, hilarious, hard working Father, Friend, and Forever Companion, passed away in our arms November 10th 2021. Andy was born March 11th, 1950 and raised in Midvale, Utah by his adoring parents, Iris Robins and Harold Christopherson. Their second and youngest son, he had one big brother, Hal, whom he looked up to and loved. He graduated in 1968 from Hillcrest High School. In 1976 he married our beautiful mom Christina Kuljis, his companion with whom he shared his life. Theirs was an indescribable intertwining of two people. Two deep, soulful, creative humans who shared a bond so unbreakable that it defied the life experiences that test even the strongest of relationships. Through laughter, pain, joy, and sickness, they had together a deep love and solemnity that made them inseparable. They have three children and a daughter in law who adore him; Tawni, Trevor & Stephanie, and Tyler. He has three beautiful grandchildren; Ethan, Brenden, and Zinnia. Andy was a talented man. Constantly artistic, creative, and inventive, he enjoyed making things with both beauty and function. With an eye for details, he made his home and surroundings uniquely his own. There has never been a gardener like Andy. His vegetable gardens were meticulous, gorgeous, colorful works of art. Cooking and especially eating were passions of his. A perfectly grilled steak, fresh vegetables from the garden, German chocolate cake for his birthday... He had an incredible quick wit and dry humor, and lit up the room, and our lives, with his blue eyes, easy smile and laugh. He had a passion for fishing and loved being outdoors. Our favorite family vacations (adventures) were driving high into the Manti La-Sal mountains to camp and fish at Deep Lake. Andy and Christina enjoyed going for many long drives in his Corvette. A lover of all music, he was especially drawn to bands he enjoyed as a young man. He said the best live show he had seen was in 1966 when the Rolling Stones played at Lagoon. A family man, his intellect and creativity were most apparent as a teacher to his children, involving them in anything he was doing and instilling in them the value of an excellent work ethic, and the priceless qualities of self-reliance and self-confidence. We love him deeply and grieve the profound loss of his physical presence in our lives. We know he would tell us with his ready smile and easy laugh, "Don't make a fuss over me. I'm alright." A small family viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 11a.m. Premier Funeral Services 67 E 8000 S, Midvale, UT 84047 Andy will have a graveside service and be interred at Elysian Burial Gardens 1075 E 4580 S, Millcreek, UT 84117
