Audrey Russey

August 24, 1920 - May 30, 2020

Audrey Bradfield Russey quietly passed away May 30, 2020. She was born August 24, 1920 in Long Beach, California to Herman and Rosena Bradfield. She spent most of her childhood in California and graduated from Poly High School in Long Beach. Her favorite days were spent at the beach with her older sister, Claudia. Although she lived most of her adult life in Utah, if you asked her where she was from, she always said California. She married Harry C. Russey on May 4, 1941 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived in Milford, Utah until Harry joined the Navy and they had to move to Seattle. Following his service they returned to Utah and lived in Salt Lake City. She was a loving mother to her daughter Pam and her son Brent. She served as PTA president at their elementary school, was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts, and a Brownie leader before serving on the Utah Council for Girl Scouts. Along with her activity in the community, she was actively involved in service to her Christian Science church. Everyone who knew her loved her. A beautiful and gracious lady, she will be missed. She is survived by her daughter Pam (Dennis Bleazard); two beloved Grandsons, Ben Bleazard (Shin Shin) and Jason Bleazard (Norah); Two Great Grandsons, Mason and Nico who brought her much joy; her niece Cheri Murphy and two nephews Fred Murphy (Sharon) and Mike Murphy. Preceded in death by her parents, sister, husband and son. If you would like to share in a celebration of the joys of her life, a get together of family and friends will be held at her daughter's home on Sunday, July 12 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, 2643 E Robidoux RD, Sandy, UT.
