Beverly Miller Johnson

October 25, 1931 - February 9, 2022

Beverly Miller Johnson passed away on February 9th at 2:16 pm. She died peacefully with many of her children and grandchildren in attendance. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, wonderful friend, and proud citizen. She had 8 children, 28 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren; and she was adamant that we all know she loved us equally. She cared deeply about her family, friends, children, animals, nature, and her country. Beverly was an amazing gardener who loved flowers, birds, and autumn leaves. Her love of the natural world also showed up in her stylish clothing and accessories, many of which she made herself. She enjoyed gourmet food and taught all her children to make her fantastic bread. She appreciated beauty and always created a warm and welcoming home. Beverly enjoyed antique hunting, sewing, and being in the canyons in the fall when the leaves were changing. She was very interested in herbal medicine and natural healing and was the family medicine woman. She had great remedies and all of us benefited from her care. She could also package anything and send it anywhere without breakage. We joked that her packages would survive an apocalyptic event! Beverly celebrated her 90th birthday last October 25th with a giant weekend party in a canyon lodge with most of her progeny (almost 50 people in attendance). While she was reluctant to leave us, her faith in her Heavenly Father was strong and we know she will be greeted by her mother and family, especially her beloved sister and friend, Marge. Beverly loved the quote, “The best thing to hold onto in life is each other.” We will hold on to you Mom, until we meet again. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the American Fork 13th Ward, 975 North 60 East, American Fork, Utah. Interment to follow at Lehi City Cemetery.
