Billy Merrill DuBreuil

Billy Merrill DuBreuil passed away at the age of 86 on Monday, April 25, 2022. He was born in Key West Florida on November 4, 1935 to Leona and Ralph DuBreuil. He had an older brother Ralph Jr and 2 younger sisters, Carolyn and Pamela. Bill joined the United States Marine Corp and served in the Korean War as a Sargent. He was later stationed in Southern California where he met the love of his life Carol. They were married for more then 55 years before Carol passed away from illness. They had 4 children, Lisa, Linda, David and Steven, 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. He later married Susan Solomon Frei who he spent several happy years with. Bill's best friends were always family. Professionally he was successful in sales and engineering with Honeywell and Powers. He also taught as an adjunct professor at Cal Poly. He served as a Bishop with LDS Church in the Chino, California Stake in the 1970's. During his battle with cancer and his later struggles with dementia, he surrounded himself with family. His grandkids were his greatest joy and especially at the end, visits from them and his great grandkids brought him happiness and peace. He could have done anything but he was happiest being at home with family. His death has reunited him with his eternal wife Carol, both parents, daughter Linda and grandson Jared. He is survived by his siblings, children Lisa, David (Tracy), Steven (Angi) and his brood of grandchildren and great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Monday, May 2, 2022 at Premier Funeral Home (67 East 8000 South, Midvale) at 10:00 AM. Graveside services to follow at Elysian Gardens (1075 East 4580 South).
