Brenda Lee Olson
September 17, 1966 - January 2, 2014
Brenda Olson, our beautiful baby sister, passed away Jan. 2, 2014, after a long battle with cancer – she was 47 years old. Brenda was born Sept. 17, 1966, in Virginia, MN to Arnold and Margie Olson. Brenda moved to Lexington, Nebraska in 1976, when her dad started a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant. Brenda learned the restaurant business working for her father. The store was sold in 1982, and the family moved back to Virginia, MN, where Brenda graduated high school. Brenda moved to Salt Lake City around 1989 and began working for Arctic Circle , where she worked her way all the way up to an Area Representative. Brenda was a beautiful person – inside and out. She loved her work and the people she worked with. She would say they were her second family. Brenda retired from Arctic Circle in 2009, when she received a diagnosis of terminal cancer. Brenda loved to golf, fish and watch football. She is survived by her sister Carlene Sage, husband John of West Jordan, Sister Deborah Feddersen and husband Geoff of Colorado Springs, brother Gary Olson, Carmen of Lexington, Kentucky, Robert Olson and wife Carla of Las Vegas, NV, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and brother Ronald Olson. A celebration of her life will be January 19th, 2014, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, at Arctic Circle Headquarters: 2nd Floor, at 411 West, 7200 South, Midvale, Utah.
