March 12, 1961 - September 9, 2018
Bruce Clark Nielsen passed away peacefully on September 9, 2018 surrounded by his family after a long hard battle with cancer. Bruce was born on March 12, 1961 in Burlingame California. He was adopted by Don Eugine and Florian Nielsen. He had many talents throughout the years, he enjoyed spending time with his family, working on his jewelry, working with leather, and any project that he could use his creativity on. He was very kind hearted and always willing to help anyone. Bruce Clark Nielsen was the father to me I never had. He taught me the value of hard work, grit and tenacity. He was a man of many skills and trades which he was always willing to share with anyone eager to learn. He was an accomplished Mechanic, Electronic Engineer, and Silversmith but also capable of so much more. Though Bruce may be gone prematurely from our physical senses he will always be present in our hearts and memories. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to be one of your many sons. I love you Dad. A hui hou. -Kris Dad, you will always be in my thoughts and in my life. Memories of your love for Halloween and our yearly trips to the haunted house, mushy pear fights in the field, and riding sleds in the winter. You encouraged our imagination, and built roads for us to ride our go karts- complete with stop signs and parking spots. I will never forget you calling us to go somewhere by saying "okay Ladies, get a move on". I love you Dad. -Johnathon Dad, Hard to find the right words to say. I thank you for all the wonderful memories, like the tricks you would play on us in the house. I will never forget your laugh, and how you would just giggle after playing a prank! I thank you for teaching me forgiveness, for your gentle soul and truly loving everyone around you unconditionally! I promise daddy we know how much you loved us! For everything you taught me. For always being so sweet and patient with your grandkids. Which where a huge part of your world. Fly high with the angels! I know you will watch over us! Until we meet again! I love you so much dad! - Christina Dear Dad, I'm going to miss all of our conversations on all of our random topics under the sun. I will always remember the day the hawks came out to dance just for us on that beautiful day in the mountains. I hope you are out flying high with them and one day I will join you. I love you and will miss you always and forever. - Zachary Dad, Even though you are gone from my life memories of you will live on. Memories of fishing at Big Bear River in the "wholly Booger and Barbie", riding the fourwheelers and tote goats, nights around the camp fire pit in the backyard. The 3 story tree house you built for us, walnut wars and the famous potatoe gun. I will always remember the lessons you have taught me and will cherish the memories we have had together. I love you Dad. - Jakob Bruce is survived by his children Kristopher Baca (HI), Johnathon (Teran) Nielsen (CA), Christina (Anthony) Molyneux (UT), Zachary Nielsen partner Jordyn Passey (UT), and Jakob (Katie) Nielsen (UT). His grandchildren Olivia, Clay, Charlee, Stevie, Lucy, Arleigh, Ambree and Carter; sisters, Karen Nielsen, and Pamela Iacini. The family would like to give a huge thank you to Comfort Worx Hospice, for their generous hearts, unconditional love and support through this difficult time. We could not have made it through this end of life journey without all of you! Angels on Earth! Per Bruce's request no funeral services will take place. Rather he wanted a party! As he finally would be free from his pain. Quote from dad two weeks prior to passing. "When I die bury me face down so the world can kiss my ass."
