Cami Marie Evensen

Our dear, sweet daughter and sister Cami Marie Evensen, 26, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on August 27, 2017. She was born November 27, 1990 to Bryan Evensen and Nicole Egan in Ogden, Utah. She graduated from Kauri Sue Hamilton School May 2013. She loved her family, baseball, football, basketball, swimming, music and special needs mutual. Her favorite teams were the NY Yankees, Utah Jazz, University of Utah, and Brigham Young University. She enjoyed watching Disney movies, JC Penney, RC Willey, Shopko, family vacations and food. She is preceded in death by her great grandmother, Leora Bloxham and her grandfather Norman Evensen, she returns now to sit upon his knee once more. She is survived by her mother, Nicole Egan (Brian); her father, Bryan Evensen (Kristen); her siblings, Cassandra Austin (Dallas), Jesse Egan (Emily), Maranda Matkin, Jakob Egan (Ashlee), Cori Evensen, Taylor Matkin, Brookelyn Egan, Cayenne Evensen, Stockton Evensen, and Brinlee Evensen; and her nephews, Porter Nelson, Quaiden Nelson, and Ryken Nelson. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Premier Funeral Services. A viewing will be held Friday, September 1, 2017 at the LDS Riverton Coppperview 7th ward, 12232 S. 3200 W, Riverton, UT 84065, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. with the funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Primary Children’s Hospital or the Special Olympics of Utah. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Danville for the loving care they have given her over these last few years and to Christie and the other team members with Symbii Hospice for their kindness and care.
