November 19, 1942 - July 1, 2019

Camille Congelos Butler 1942 - 2019 ‘We will all have our Fridays. But I testify to you in the name of the One who conquered death - Sunday will come. In the darkness of our sorrow…Sunday will come!’ wrote Mormon Joseph B. Wirthlin. Camille Butler’s Sunday came peacefully but joyful and welcomed on Monday, July 1, 2019. She was 76. Camille Congelos was born November 19, 1942 in Hartford, Connecticut a daughter of the late Joseph and Lydia (Boccacio) Congelos. Raised and educated in Hartford, CT. she later married John Butler. They lived many years in Windsor Locks, CT. before making Worcester their home for 20 years. John died in 1993. Upon retirement Camille served a mission in Toronto, Canada for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Camille then moved to Utah to be closer to family. She loved her church and the many people with whom she developed personal friendships while doing God’s work. While in Worcester Camille was the friendly and familiar face at the Board of Health on Meade Street where she worked for years. Always helpful and friendly she was the woman all the funeral directors throughout Worcester County and beyond would work with when filing the necessary paperwork. She was polite, compassionate, efficient, tempered and a respected co-worker amongst the people in the building and the many funeral directors whom she had daily interactions. Camille’s family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to the staff at Pointe Meadows Health and Rehabilitation in Lehi, Utah for the love and devoted care they gave to Camille. In addition to her husband and parents Camille is predeceased by her brother Joseph P. Congelos Jr.. Equally important to Camille’s faith was her family. She loved being a mother and then to be blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She considered her family to be her greatest joy. She leaves her sister, Paula Congelos of Suffield, CT., children Dawn Bitar (Mark) of Brandon, VT., Dina Chatwin (Michael) of Highlands Ranch, CO., Danielle Cousin (Erik) of Eagle Mountain, UT., Joseph Butler (Celeste) of Herriman, UT, and Heather Morgan (Gary) of Orem, UT.; her grandchildren, Brian, Jennawé, Elizabeth, Emerson, Rileigh, Kate, Lydia, Luke, Maggie, Bellami, Johnny and Kayleigh; great-grandchildren, Mathew, Michael, Lily, Weston, Arya, Katherine and Grace; also survived by nieces & nephews.
