Casey LeRoy Allen

July 31, 1977 - September 22, 2021

Casey, 44, returned to our loving Father in Heaven on September 22, 2021, at Utah Valley hospital in Provo, UT after a valiant fight against Covid. Casey was born July 31, 1977, to George & Judy Allen in Rupert, ID. He was the 5th of 14 children. He grew up in a house of love. He attended Minidoka High School until his Senior year and then graduated from Soda Springs High School. He served a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Arcadia California mission. After his mission, he started working for Kinetico Quality Water Systems of Salt Lake City and happily worked there until the time of his passing. Casey met and married the love of his life, Amber Walker, in 2001 in the Mt. Timpanogos Utah Temple. They “lived the good life” for 20 years. They have four wonderful children; Kenneth “Cooper”, Orrin, Mercedes, and Allyson. He was also a 2nd dad to many beloved children through the years. Casey was a devoted husband and father. He treated his wife with kindness, respect, intense love and complete devotion. He loved his kids dearly and worked tirelessly to raise them to be kind and loving adults. Casey loved his family more than anything and found joy in spending as much time with them as possible. He loved camping, reading Louis L’Amour books, horseback riding, riding dirt bike, food fights, teasing his kids and spending time with his family. He taught his kids how to work, how to be strong, and how to mow the lawn correctly. Most importantly, he taught them how to love and how to serve others by his example. When he was not with his family, you could find Casey helping someone in need. He was always helping a neighbor or talking to someone who needed a pick me up. He loved inviting people over to feed them, and believed that “every activity is better with good food.” He happily served the youth of his ward. He served with a pure heart and gave everything he had. He loved teaching the boys how to become great men. Casey lived by the rule of “work hard so you can play hard” and instilled this in his kids. He believed in those around him and thought the best of those he met. He will be greatly missed! He was a giant of a man and loved by all who met him. Casey was preceded in death by his brother Kimbol Allen, mother-in-law Jeanie Southam Walker, brother-in-laws Kenneth & Todd Walker and Sister-in-laws Jennie & Joni Walker. He is survived by his loving wife Amber and devoted children Cooper, Orrin, Mercedes and Allyson Allen, his parents, George & Judy Allen; Siblings Michael (Rosa) Allen, (Susan) Allen, Wendy Allen, Misty (Eric) Nelson, Jennifer (Todd) Shupe, Crystal (Robert) Lemon, Tyrel (Misty) Allen, Curtis Allen, Jeremy (Chiu Chin) Allen, Ivan (Kiriana) Allen, Amber (Tyron) Sturges, Stacy (Matt) Miller, Randall (Melanie) Allen; In laws- Larry & Junette Walker, Richard (Kay) Emerson, Scott Walker, Floyd (Laura) Castillo, Robyn (Brian) Grayless, Brett (Sacha) Walker, Jeff (Nichole) Walker and many loving and kind friends. For all who know & love Casey Allen, a viewing will be held Sunday, September 26th 6-8pm and again Monday, September 27th 9:30-10:30am followed by a celebration of life ceremony beginning at 11am. All services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 3785 W Boxelder Dr. Cedar Hills, UT 84062 The Celebration of life portion of the service will be available via zoom https://zoom.us/j/98851211863
