Charlotte Gail Drazin

February 16, 1935 - July 9, 2021

In Memory of Charlotte Gail Pounders Hoffman Drazin. Charlotte was the loving daughter of Evelyn Wilson & Victor J Pounders, she was raised in Redlands & Yucaipa areas and helped her father Vic with the egg ranch in Yucaipa until his death on Overcrest Drive. She is the wonderful, independent, opinionated mother of Sherice, Jeanne & Ian. We all might have butted heads with mom through the years but if we needed her she was always there for us, we will always love you mom. Charlotte always said she was the middle sister to Vivian, Carol & Beverly (Vicki), as you can see math wasn't her strongest suit, lol. Our mother wasn't afraid of hard work & loved teaching us kids that "she could do anything a man could do," she succeeded over & over with that belief. She loved history, adventure, hiking the Grand Canyon, finding old mines, crossin' rickety old bridges & month long vacations across the US with her ex-husband Art Drazin and us kids. She absolutely LOVED horses & was in many riding clubs & parades in Yucaipa & Pasadena, mom & her horse Jimmy were always decked out to the nines! Being raised on a ranch she harvested oranges, plums, milked, gathered eggs, butchered, she even raised a baby coyote found while riding and fed it liver, the prettiest healthiest coyote y' ever saw. Mom raised many children through the years in her Drazin Day Care in Yucaipa, many children would come back to visit her and thank her, she truly loved all children & was loved in return. She was an avid reader of anything and everything, but if you looked at her bookcase it was the Louis L'Amour western books that were worn out & dogeared with backs and sometimes fronts missing. Charlotte passed into the next phase of life while a granddaughter read Key-Lock Man to her. We have no doubt she is riding her beloved horse Jimmy and hanging out with all those handsome western singing cowboys, flirting, laughing and smilin'. Charlotte's grandchildren, Bruford, Breiyon, Chelsie, Marin, Danica, Shiloe, Ian, Paige, Talon, Keagan, Mckenzie, Cooper & Connor Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Charles (Rudy) Hoffman & step-son Steven Hoffman Happy Trails to you Mom, Until We All Meet Again.
