Dale Lynn Evans
January 13, 1954 - October 21, 2017
In the early morrning of Oct 21, 2017 this earth lost one of its best. Dale Lynn Evans passed away after a prolonged illness. Dale was born on January 13, 1954 to Harmon and Geraldine Evans in Boulder City, Nevada. Dale has been a resident of Roy Utah since the early 80’s and was instrumental in getting Western Zirconium up and functioning. Dale was in the first graduating class from South Albany High School in 1972. He spent 4 years in the Army where he was stationed mostly in Taiwan, which is where he met his wife, Chih. Dale had a passion for the outdoors and loved fishing. The only person better at fishing would have been his wife. Dale is survived by his wife Chih Evans, his daughter Teri (Evans) Olsen and 2 grandchildren. Dale is best known for his big heart, his amazing sense of humor, his exceptionally high intelligence and his wet willies. While heaven rejoices in having such a person join their ranks, those he left behind will miss him greatly… but will carry on his shenanigans in his honor. The family will have a viewing on Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 10:00am – Noon, with the funeral service to begin at Noon. It will be held at Roy Utah Stake Center located at 5127 S. 2400 W.
