David Lynn Bowen, 86, died September 16, 2010 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born in Murray, Utah November 9, 1923 to David and Elva McGuire Bowen, David served his country in WWII where he received the Purple Heart. He was a well known antique and art dealer. He enjoyed landscaping, mining, the fine arts and was an avid swimmer. He enjoyed trains and model railroading and was a gifted writer. David came to know Jesus Christ as his personal savior on October 3, 1979 with his son. He is survived by his brother John Marlo (Barbara) Bowen, son David L. (Deborah) Bowen, grandsons Dale L. (Lisa) Bowen , David M. Bowen, great-grandsons Chasin H. and Van Scott Bowen. Loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Preceded in death by his wife Kay Christopulos Bowen, parents and sisters Dorothy Startin and Catherine Noble. David came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior on Oct. 3, 1979 with his son. Graveside services held 12 noon, Wednesday, September 29, 2010. 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Riverton, UT. Please arrive early.
