Diana Hilton
May 8, 1941 - September 2, 2021
We lost our amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother on September 2nd, a day that has changed our families lives forever as we grapple with coming to the realization of never being able to have our days brightened by her presence and charm. Diane fought a long and hard battle, physically and mentally, with Alzheimer’s over the last several years, a disease that steals so much from both the patient and their family. Our comfort comes from the fact that we made the most of every day we had together with this amazing woman. Diane is survived by her loving husband Ted Hilton of 62 years, her two daughters (Susie, Stacey) and their spouses (Dale and Mike), her son Gary, along with her 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren that she absolutely adored, each one holding a special place in her heart. Beyond spending time with family, Diane loved to go camping, fishing and motorcycling. Not that she didn’t also enjoy playing Farkle, Dominoes or heading out to Wendover for the day. At times we all wondered if she loved her dogs more than the rest of us, they were clearly her babies. Diane was a beautician for over 20 years at Sandy Regional, enjoying every minute of it. There is now a major piece of our family puzzle missing and we will feel the pain and loss forever. At the same time, we are incredibly relieved that she is not suffering anymore, while we are looking forward to the day that we are all reunited. There will a viewing on Tuesday Sept. 7th from 9-10:00 AM at Premier Funeral 67 East 8000 South in Midvale, followed by graveside services at Valley View Memorial 4335 West 4100 South in West Valley City at 11:00AM.
