Don Douglas Lansberry of Kaysville, UT, died at home serving his family on October 3, 2017. He was 84 years old. Don is survived by his wife Arline, his sister Marian Stamas (Andrew) of Akron, OH, his children Michael Lansberry of Everett, WA, Theresa Einerson (Steve) of Lakepoint, UT, Gary Lansberry of Ogden, UT, and Leah Thomason (Lee) of Rockdale, TX; his nine grandchildren; and his 2 great-grandchildren. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Ai Douglas Lansberry and Leonora Devine Hawkins; his brother Dale Hawkins Lansberry; and his infant sons Joseph Don and John Leo Lansberry. Don was born on April 3, 1933 in Huntington Park, CA. A veteran of the Korean war, he married the love of his life, Arline Skalla, on November 11, 1960 in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Cal State Northridge with a degree in electrical engineering and worked for Litton Guidance and Control and Northrop Grumman. He served a two year mission with his wife in Fort Apache, Arizona and volunteered for thirteen years in the engineering department at the Bountiful Temple. He used his knowledge and compassion to serve his country, his church, his friends, and his family everyday of his life. He was capable of fixing anything. The viewing and funeral are scheduled for Monday, October 9 at the Kaysville Crestwood Stake Building at 1039 E. Crestwood Road. The viewing will be from 9:30 am to 10:45 am with the funeral to follow at 11am.
