Eilene Workman Ashby

February 2, 1942 - December 10, 2021

Eilene Workman Ashby passed away peacefully on December 10, 2021, at the age 79. Eilene is survived by her husband, William T. Ashby; children, DeAnn (Doug) Gibbons, Scott (Dana) Ashby, Kenneth (Denise) Ashby, and Kevin (Tonya) Ashby. Eilene was born on February 2, 1942, in Delta, Utah to Meltiar and Edna Horne Workman. She attended Utah State University and later married her sweetheart, Bill on July 21, 1961, in the Manti Temple. After moving to Clinton, the couple welcomed 4 children into their home where Eilene spent her time as a homemaker. Her children remember her as a kind, gentle and patient mother. Eilene’s favorite job in life was being a mother and grandmother. Her greatest passion was playing games with her family Eilene was an active and dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many leadership positions in the church. Her favorite, being a volunteer at the Ogden temple. A viewing will be held at 1288 W 1300 N, Clinton, on Friday, December 17 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held the following day at Fillmore Cemetery.
