April 18, 1932 - October 25, 2011
Frank Millward“Pop” Frank Millward passed peacefully of metastatic cancer at home on October 25, 2011. He was born 79 years ago in the San Francisco Bay Area to Curtis Millward and Nannette Wright. He was sealed to Linda Redd. Frank served in the United States Air Force, as an LDS missionary to Japan, and graduated from Brigham Young University. His career was in the healthcare industry. He and Linda served with CES in the England Birmingham mission and Frank always said that was the best 18 months of their marriage. He was also valiant in temple work and in home teaching. During the final week of his life, when he could no longer visit his home teaching families, he requested they come to his bedside. Frank is survived by his wife Linda, four daughters: Brooke (Scott), Megan (David), Mari (Tom), and Shanna (David), 12 grandchildren and two great-grandsons, and by two brothers: (Geoff (Margarita), and Phil, (Narci). He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Roslyn and Gale, and by his grandson Tyler, with whom he shared an especially close bond. At Frank’s request, there will be no viewing. The funeral service will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1:00 pm, at the LDS chapel located at 475 N. 700 E. in Pleasant Grove. Interment will be in San Diego, California. Frank requested no flowers, but that anyone who wishes might make a donation to either the LDS Humanitarian fund or to the LDS General Temple Patron Assistance fund.
