Glorine Jacobsen Anderson
July 7, 1933 - August 1, 2016
Glorine Jacobsen Anderson, returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father August 1, 2016 at the age of 83. “Glo” Was born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho to Heber LeRoy and Silva Christensen Jacobsen. She attended Pocatello High School where she Participated in the Operetta’s and later attended BYU and continued to be an avid fan. She had a beautiful voice and later moved to Fort Worth,Texas where she was a member of the Fort Worth Opera Company. Glo spent over sixty years in the Automobile business, and currently worked part time for Wes Johnson at Menlove Auto. Wes treated her like family and was so very good to her. Glorine was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many positions of service including many years as the Nursery Leader and Relief Society President. She currently served as a Greeter where the people of her ward loved her infectious smile and warm welcome. Glorine was loved by all who knew her and she always made everyone feel special. Glorine is survived by her Brother Gene Jacobsen (Afton), Sister in Law, Ann Jacobsen, nieces Kelly Jo Nelson (Stuart), Wendy Williams, Joni Jacobsen, Melissa Iasonides (Nick) and their children who all loved Aunt Glo. Also her Step Children and grandchildren, who she adored. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Errol Jacobsen. A special Thank you to the Sunset 3rd Ward, Wes Johnson, Vic and Cherri Bodily, Shari Wagner, Karren Anglin and a heartfelt Thanks to Mei Pearson who has cared for Glo with such love and kindness over many years. Services will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 11:00 am, Sunset 3rd ward LDS Chapel, 1800 North 338 West, Sunset Utah 84105
