Harold William Devenish born Nov. 8, 1946 passed away on Friday April 20, 2012 after a short illness. He was born to Harold A. and Twila M. Nye Devenish in Salt Lake City, Utah where he lived most of his life. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era and later in the Army Reserves. Bill was an accomplished drummer and played in a number of bands. He was proudest of his participation in Horst Fidel and the Bavarians who entertained many people during Octoberfest at Snowbird Ski Resort. He is survived by wife, Colleen; children, Andrew (Kristie), Aaron and Amanda (Charles); and seven grandchildren; sister, Lu Eileen Arnold and Conni Clawson. He was preceded in death by parents. Funeral services will be held Tues. April 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with viewing one hour before at the Granger W. 7th Ward at 4460 W. Courtney Dr. A viewing will be held Monday evening at the church from 6-8 P.M.
