Janice `Ilene Gray

Janice Ilene Gray beloved Mother and Grandmother joined her family in heaven February 23, 2022. Janice was born May 29, 1942 in Bellingham, Washington to Sterling Umphenour and Thelma Petrie. She married Jay Gray, May 12, 1972. Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Sterling Umphenour and Thelma & Karl Goodman; her husband, Jay Duane Gray; and her brother, Donald Umphenour. Janice is survived by her brother, Sterling Umphenour; three children, Elma & Steven Crowley, Jay (Dee) & Cortnie Gray, and Justin & Jamie Gray; twelve Grandchildren; and sixteen Great Grandchildren. Janice moved to Salt Lake City, Utah as a young child and spent the rest of her life living in Utah. She served an LDS mission at the age of 21. Janice was a homemaker that raised her family. She went back to school and got her Secretarial Science Associate’s Degree in 1993. She enjoyed coloring, visiting with family, playing games, camping, and crafting. Janice was loved by her family, and we are sad to see you go. We wish you could still be here to share in our lives. We know that your struggles are now over. We are happy that you are with your parents, your sibling, and our Lord Savior. We love you Janice and can’t wait until we see you again!
