Judy K Jimenez

June 12, 1953 - January 2, 2022

Our beloved Judy K Jimenez, loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, nanny, grandma, great-grandma and friend passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband and surrounded by her children on January 2, 2022. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Leo and Betty Peterson on June 12, 1953. She was the middle child of two sisters Betty Jean Fox and Terry Molloy (Larry). She married her husband, Herb Jimenez on March 14, 1974. Judy is preceded in death by her mom, Betty Peterson and sister, Betty Jean Fox. She leaves behind the love of her life, Herb Jimenez; her four children, Diana Jimenez; Lonnie Jimenez (Lupita); Jason Jimenez (Chandra); Rebecca Cabrera (Armando); 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. She lived a beautiful life, surrounded by her loved ones daily. She took great pride in being a wife, mother and grandmother which she did so gracefully and effortlessly. She stayed home to raise her children and spent much of her adult life babysitting her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many others. She thoroughly enjoyed the company of her family and friends and was constantly doing for others. Anyone she met immediately became family and her door was always open to anyone who needed it. She put everyone above herself and expected nothing in return. She was the center of her entire family. She was a beautiful light in this world, loved dearly by all who knew her. She was beautiful, courageous, hard working, loving, pure and selfless. She always had a smile on her face and never failed to put one on the faces of those around her. Her arms felt like home to so many and she will be deeply missed. Services will be held Saturday, January 15th, 11 am - 12:30 pm at the Bennion 6th ward church located at 5775 S 2700 W Taylorsville, UT 84129.
