Kay Richard Lindahl

Kay Richard Lindahl, age 78, passed away December 28th in Layton Utah, due to complications from asbestos exposure. He was born May 21st 1935, in Salt Lake City to Gladys Elizabeth Gray and James Lindahl. He was sealed to his sweetheart Janice Lindley in the Salt Lake City Temple on October 18th, 1963. After graduating from Granite High School, Kay served in the U.S. Navy Reserves for 12 years. He worked diligently in the healthcare industry for 40 years, and recently received honors by the Utah Healthcare Association in which scholarships could be granted in his name. He was active in the LDS church, serving faithfully in his callings. He is survived by his wife Janace, brother Blaine (Joy), children Richard (Brianna), Shari (Allan), and Dianna (David), ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Preceded in death were brothers Charles and Jay. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Hospice For Utah for the loving care they provided to both Kay and the family, especially Jackie (RN), and caregivers Debbie and Debbie. A special thank you to Doctor Gary Holland and Alethea Martinez for their extraordinary attention to Kay and the family after his passing. The funeral service will commence at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 2, 2013; at an LDS stake center located 1480 W Phillips St. Kaysville, 84037. A viewing will be held the same morning at 9:00. Interment will be at the Lindquist Washington Heights Memorial Park; 4500 Washington Blvd., Ogden, UT.
