Kim Fowers Vanderbloom

Kim Fowers Vanderbloom, 56 passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012. She lived a very tough life with a lot of pain as well as struggled with type one diabetes. Kim deeply missed the love of her life, Douglas Vanderbloom who passed away December 11, 2006. They had a very special love and were united by marriage on February 1, 1976 in Las Vegas, NV. Kim was born on July 9, 1955 to Keith Leland Fowers and Evelyn Jean Hess Fowers. She went to Roy High School in Roy, UT as well as Boulder City High School in Boulder City, NV. She worked at a test site in NV as well as many years with the Tooele hospital. Kim and Doug loved to travel and some of the places they resided in were Silver City and Las Crusces NM, Las Vegas, NV, Tooele and Roy, UT. Kim is survived by her child, Steven Vanderbloom (Christy); her grandchild, Nicholas as well as her siblings, Karen, Michael and Connie. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her sister, Ardell Hansen. Special thanks to everyone who touched Kim's heart, including everyone from Country Pines Assisted Living, her friends, family as well as Leisa, Sunny and Ann from Hospice. Kim did not wish to have a memorial service. Please hold a personal memorial of her in your heart. Cremation is under the direction of Premier Funeral Services, Inc in Salt Lake City, UT.
