Linda Fawn Slater

March 19, 1943 - April 24, 2022

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Linda Slater from Marriott-Slaterville. Our beloved Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt and Great Great Aunt passed away on April 24, 2022 at the Lotus Park Assisted Living Facility from natural causes with family by her side. Linda was born March 17, 1943 in Ogden Utah, the daughter of Fawn Bybee Slater and Alma K Slater. She was raised on a small dairy farm and helped her father and brothers haul hay. Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter–day Saints and helped out in Primary for many years. She enjoyed playing softball with the Church along with participating in many of the Church activities. She enjoyed being around family and friends and especially enjoyed family gatherings. She spent a lot of time knitting and crocheting beautiful granny circles and chains. Linda is survived by two brothers, Lane (Myrth) Slater and Randy (Jill) Slater and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. Graveside services will be held Friday April 29, 2022, at 11:00 am, at the Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd, Ogden Utah. Visitation for the family will be held Friday April 29, 2022 from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at the Premier Mortuary, 5335 S 1950 W, Roy Utah prior to the Graveside service.
