Mary Louise Egan Kirk, 86 died on Easter Sunday of advanced C.O.P.D., which she endured with amazing courage and determination. She was born on July 24, 1927 in Price, Utah, the daughter of J. Perry and Julia A. Egan. She grew up in Salt Lake City and attended East High School. Louise enjoyed a diverse working experience in Fashion, Local TV, Advertising, Retail and as Administrative Secretary for the Ambassador Athletic Club. She married V. Richard Boothe in 1947 and they had two daughters. Later divorced. Married George E. Kirk in 1962; he died in 1968. Louise lived at Friendship Manor Apartments since 2002 where she enjoyed many lasting friendships. Her family would like to acknowledge with heartfelt appreciation the concern and professional care of CNS hospice, especially Melissa, RN; Yvonne CNA; and David, Social Worker. Sincere gratitude also goes to Patricia and Maria of Dynamic Grace Home Healthcare for their unconditional attention and love. Louise is survived by her daughters, Marie (Michael) Davis; Sherie (Don) Spradling; sister, Marjorie E. Pearson; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many friends. During the last few weeks of her life Louise was able to enjoy many beautiful floral gifts. With this in mind, the family suggests no flowers at this time. Family services and interment will be at a later date.
