Marie Ann Colarusso Brown Rest in Heaven Tuesday, February 9, 2021 The phrase, Live, Laugh Love, best describes the life of Marie Ann Colarusso Brown. Her smile and personality warmed all those who met her. She departed this life Tuesday, February 9, 2021. Marie was born June 26, 1936, in Mt. Vernon, New York, to Andrew Colarusso and Agnes Nardozzi. She graduated from Davis High School in Mt. Vernon, New York, and began married life with Willis Brown Jr. Together they had three children and lived a military life in the United States Air Force. They settled in Layton, Utah, and later divorced. She moved to Clearfield, Utah after. Marie worked at Hill Air Force Base as a Program Manager for 27 years, retiring with a GS-11 rank. In 1977, Marie entered the United States Navy Reserve serving locally and in Alameda, California. She was honorably discharged in June 1996, retiring with the rank PO1 Petty Officer First Class. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends socializing and watching sports (baseball/basketball/football). She loved the puppies: Zeke, Fiddy, Teddy, and Zoe. Marie was an active church member of Integrity Christian Fellowship. Marie is survived by her sister Joan and three cousins- Florence, Donnie, and Joe children- son Anthony (Shelly), daughters Denise, and Christina (Ricky); grandchildren- Shannon (Domingo), Janica, Jill, Cassandra (Carson), Abdell, Andrea, Ryan, Marquis, and Talia; great-grandchildren- Hailey, Jada, Reyna (Braden), Alexus, Olivia, Malia, Evan, Marcus, Phoenix, Gianni, Mya, Tameka, Imani, Angelina; great-great grandchildren- Mason and Leila; and numerous close friends and relatives. Her parents and one sister, Vincenza, preceded her in death. * Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no public services. Paper obituaries are available from the family upon request.
