Mary Ann Lee Obituary 1960 – 2017 Mary Ann (Divett) Lee died peacefully in her home after battling pancreatic cancer on July 31, 2017 in Vineyard, Utah at the age of 56. Mary Ann is survived by her husband, David Lee, and their children Chelsea (and husband Sam Snow), Connor, Alexi and Braden. Braden is currently serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Nebraska, Omaha mission. She was born September 28, 1960 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert Thomas Divett and Janet Myrtle Barben. Raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, her father was a medical librarian for the University of New Mexico. She was the fifth of six children. She served a mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina, graduated from BYU Hawaii, and went on to teach English in Japan. However, her greatest joy in life was in being a wife and mother. Mary Ann exhausted her body and mind while serving others, especially her family. A homeschool mom, she constantly sought out fun and creative ways to teach her children. As a member of her church, she influenced those around her and served in many different callings throughout her life. Her warmth and dedication to her family and to God were felt by all those around her. A funeral is scheduled for 11:00 am, Saturday, August 5, 2017 at the LDS Church located at 422 East 400 South, Vineyard, Utah. The viewing will be prior to services from 9:45 to 10:45 am. Following the service, family members will meet at Orem City Cemetery for the burial. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mary Ann’s life. In lieu of flowers, a Go Fund Me page located at www.gofundme.com/marydivettlee has been created to help pay for funeral expenses. The family would like to thank all who have shown their love and support during this difficult time.
