Nada Sue Beck

June 10, 1965 - October 15, 2021

Nada Sue Beck June 10th 1965 - October 15th 2021 Nada "Sue" Burnette was welcomed home by her loving mother on October 15th 2021. She was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on June 10th 1965 to Myrtle Kathleen Raddon and Robert Leon Burnette. She preferred to go by ‘Sue’ because everybody would pronounce her name incorrectly, and say "Nada" which in Spanish means "nothing". She would tease her mom, and ask her, "Mom, why did you name me ‘nothing’?" However the name Nada (Naadaa) means "Hope" or "Dew at Sunrise". Sue was the oldest of Kathy and Bob's four children together. Sue grew up on a farm loving all animals, especially horses. Kathy was a dog groomer, and taught Sue everything she needed to know about grooming. They worked together for many years at Joe's Pet Shop. Sue loved watching horse races and NASCAR. She loved music and the Native American culture. She was an outdoorsy person who loved camping and fishing. Her favorite flower was a rose. She enjoyed taking long hot baths and reading a good book. She had a love for magical creatures like unicorns, fairies and dragons. Sue always wanted a family of her own after losing a daughter at birth. When she married Donald Beck she instantly gained a stepdaughter. Nikie was about five at the time. Sue couldn't help but to fall in love with her. She and Donald later had two beautiful boys of their own; Tyler Don and Bryan James. She loved being their mother. It was her greatest joy. Her other greatest joy was being a grandma to three beautiful granddaughters; Raven (3), Eleanor (1) and was blessed to be able to meet baby Helena. She had so much love for them, and will miss them all tremendously. Sue and Donald remained best friends until the very end. Years later, she fell in love with Johnny Gonzales and spent the rest of her life with him. They got married October 1st 2020 after being together for so many years. Sadly, he passed away June 4th 2021 from cancer, while she was in the hospital fighting her own health issues. She didn’t want to leave this life behind, she wanted desperately to be reunited with her loving Mother and of course her Husband. Sue was far from "nothing", she was a beautiful soul from the inside out. "Hope" you'll see her in the "Morning Dew" as she watches down on us, while starring at the moon. Take some time to smell the roses, let be a reminder she never left us. We love you always and forever, Mom! See you in the Purple Rain! 💜🥀 Sue is survived by: Brothers, James Burnette, Joseph Burnette, Christopher (Jamie) Burnette, Bobby Burnette, Leon Burnette and Sister, Christy Jo Myers. Children, Tyler (Sarah) Beck, Granddaughter, Eleanor, Bryan (Tori) Beck, Granddaughters, Raven and Helena, Nicole "Nikie" Giles and Ry-Guy. She is preceded in death by her parents Kathy and Bob, Husband Johnny Gonzales, and her Daughter that passed at birth. Sue wished to be cremated. We will honor her, and have a celebration of life to be scheduled at a later date for family and friends.
